In a wooded setting, this 16th-century Renaissance manor house, fully listed as a Historic Monument, 10 kilometers from the beaches and the Pink Granite Coast, features superb architectural elements worthy of the great châteaux of the period. Remarkably well-preserved, the complex has been restored over the past 30 years using the finest materials and craftsmen, but above all with extreme taste and care.
The manor house stands at the end of a hornbeam driveway, overlooking the cobbled courtyard. Its L-shaped layout rests on a solid and beautiful molded base. It features a façade of particularly fine granite assemblage (alternating different granite colors) and a large semi-circular door with Renaissance ornamentation, on a rusticated staircase. On the right, a large and tall building with two windows in a cut corner, a particularly elegant and rare architectural originality.
Past the double-flighted steps and the heavy door with a transom decorated with Renaissance terms, the hall, paved with granite, presents a succession of beautiful semicircular doors topped with elegant molded frames, leading to the large room of 95m2 with a 4.5m high ceiling, resembling a gallery, lit by four tall windows, and dominated at the back by a superb fireplace decorated with fluted pilasters, the hall also opens onto the staircase, a two-meter-wide granite banister, adorned with a very beautiful fluted column. In the wing opposite, the 47m² dining room, built on schist slabs, features a second beautiful Renaissance fireplace with a cornice motif supported by modillions, a typical Renaissance motif. From this room, access is via two beautiful stone spiral staircases to the cellar and the upper floor. The adjoining kitchen features many beautiful features, including a beautiful fireplace, and offers another staircase leading to the upper floor. Upstairs, there are three beautiful bedrooms, one of which is 38m² with a fireplace, two bathrooms, and a toilet.

This manor house has the rare distinction of offering large cellars with fireplaces under the entire building, particularly the former large kitchens, which is quite rare and generally reserved for large Renaissance châteaux. The techniques and materials used for the restoration were meticulously executed. The exterior and interior door and window frames are made of the finest knot-free pegged oak. The moldings were reworked from an existing door and a specially crafted joinery ironwork was used. The hinges and ironwork, the work of a blacksmith, were made to exacting specifications and use the original hinges. The plasterwork is lime and sand, the floors are solid oak or chestnut, and some of the glass in the small-paned door frames are reused from the 18th century.
In the courtyard, opposite the manor house, is a beautiful farmhouse with its structural work in good condition.
