Louis XIV period château with particularly elegant and harmonious architecture. Restored in the 18th and 19th centuries. Featuring beautiful period interior features. In a state of abandonment, in need of complete restoration. One wing is in ruins.
Sumptuous wrought iron staircase banister of great elegance, decorated with curves, counter-curves, plumes, and monograms, in the Regency style.
Superb 18th and 19th century woodwork, cabochon floors. Remains of extremely rare painted canvases adorned with exotic animals in the 18th century oriental style. Interior shutters adorned with small wood-paneled mirrors. Ground floor rooms in a row.
Symmetrical plan, the main rectangular building, simple in depth and therefore very bright, between two low wings forming single-story galleries terminating in pavilions, all under hipped roofs.
The architecture is highly homogeneous, with the central building adorned with bossages and cross-bars, keystone windows, dormers with alternating arched and triangular pediments. A play of arched windows on the galleries. Dormers half-set into the masonry. Bull's-eye windows.
19th-century outbuildings adorned with openwork balconies.
